Each enrollment is given personal attention by our homeschool staff.
Please allow 7-10 days for this process to be completed, as this is a very busy time for our staff.

Enrollment

Your student should stay enrolled at his/her previous school until you receive a Confirmation of Enrollment from us.

Enrollment must be completed by the parent/guardian.

Parent/guardians must have a high school diploma or GED to enroll in the Compass program. Parents without this minimum requirement must register as Nautilus.

Since email is our primary means of communication to our families, it is necessary for at least one parent/guardian to have an email address that is checked regularly.

Re-enrollment must be done during the re-enrollment period which is July 1 – July 31 in order to avoid an additional $25 fee and/or truancy.

SailAway may deny re-enrollment based on overdue balances or failure to report grades and attendance.

The application fee and enrollment fee are nonrefundable. If you have questions regarding your student’s enrollment, or if you need additional information to determine if SailAway would be a good fit for your family, please contact us at 865-376-7005 prior to completing the online application.

 

Enrollment Dates

Enrollment for the coming school year is June 1 – July 31. An additional processing fee of $25 will be assessed for any enrollment outside of this window.

 

Year-Round Enrollment

SailAway accepts year-round enrollment.

If you would like to enroll for the remainder of the school year, please contact us prior to submitting the online application to discuss your circumstances.

Transfers

Each public and private school has specific policies regarding the acceptance of homeschool credit. If your student transfers from SailAway to a public or private school, that school may require placement tests to determine grade level or credit acceptance.
